It is sometimes necessary to provide a digital receipt without using the customer’s personal data.
For example, some non-registered customers wish to receive an electronic receipt without having to share personal data or identify themselves at checkout.
For retailers equipped with customer-facing screens or SCOs, EdgarPOS can display a QR code that allows customers to instantly view their receipts on their smartphone. The QR code is unique to each transaction (dynamic).
For other retailers wishing to offer this functionality, Limpidius enables the use of a static QR code displayed at the checkout. The customer then enters a 4-digit code provided by the cashier.
